Long-distance love is still love

I was talking with a friend of mine about long-distance relationships and cyber dating and she insisted that they arent successful.

'No, way could it work imagine not being able to see each other for months or weeks on end, tensions are bound to rise she strongly suggested.

I beg to differ, a relationship can not only survive the long-distance but also thrive.

HAVE A PLAN
Like in any relationship you need to know what you want from it as well as establish what you and your partner will need to make it work. Obviously in the early stages of your long-distance relationship you would have to decide on how you and your partner will make it work.

CONSTANT COMMUNICATION
Communication is key in any relationship but it is even more important when it comes to long-distances. From constant calls to avid visits even skyping.
We live in a technological era where instant messeging is the order of the day from bbms to whatsapps to IM's.

DO THINGS TOGETHER
Whenever you and your partner are together make memory's. Visit the zoo, go to the movies. Being together does not have to cost money. Even when apart you can still do thingr together. From dinner dates via skype to videos of exciting things that happened to you during the day.

Long-distance relationships should not be a negative thing. They can work, one can not close themselves from love just because there afraid of the distance between. Love conqures all including something as futile as distance

BOMBSHELL WITH A PEN IN HAND

We decided to meet at Primi Piatti in the Waterfront. She suggested it said it had a killer vibe, great atmosphere and hearty food.

From humble beginnings in the Eastern Free State, Rethabile Radebe is well on her way to making it big in the Journalism World. Question on your minds is who is she?

FAMILY AFFAIR
Family is important to her because she says they form part of the very first foundation of "friendship". 'I didn't know this as a teenager, but now I'm friends with my family and they mean the world to me. They are my ride or die people, people who accepted and loved me with the flaws, the mistakes and disappointments." '

THE JOURNALIST IN HER
Rethabile chose Journalism because of her love for writing. Her passion for verbal fighting and for people who can't fight for themselves. 'I dislike what the government does, abusing the proletarait. "I want to be the mouthpiece of the people." '

FOODIE
Rethabile's favourite dish would be tripe, otherwise known as interstines."I especially love cow tripe. I love it hot with freshly baked homemade bread. Yum!"

QUOTES & INSPIRATIONS
Rethabile looks up to Beyoncè, King Bey has worked very hard without compromising her true self and she's a feminist she said.
Her favorite quote is "I love you and Jesus loves you" said by every single person that ever said that to me, it toys with her emotions in the nicest of ways.

LAYING HER ROOTS
'I want to live in the Northern Cape in Sutherland,' she told me. The fact that in Winter it snows, she loves that it's quite a small place, away from the noise and the concrete jungle. 'I love "farm-like" places, they give me sanity.'

SECRECY BILL
'When exposing a crime is treated as commiting a crime, you are being ruled by criminals.' Rethabile feels that we are being ruled by criminals and they are introducing this, so they can be above the law.

Watching with baited breath as this rising star shines!

From 8 April to 11 April the University of Free State held their autumn graduations the first graduations of the year 2014.  The University of Free State has two graduations annually the autumn graduation and spring graduation which takes place around September.
The long walk to Callie Human by the graduates and Prof. Jonathan Jansen and his team accompanied by the drum beats by the music students set the mood of excitement and anticipation.
As the graduates filled the bottom of the Callie Human hall. With tons of proud parents, friends, wives and husbands as well as well wishers looking on.
The autumn graduations took place in different divisions, the universities different faculties had there chance to shine. The 9 April graduation ceremony saw the humanties faculty and other faculty graduates.
The smell of success, joy and pure pride was the order of the day at Callie Human.
The excited faces of graduates and proud screams from parents and claps from fellow graduates.
Inspirational words came from the Rector Prof. Jonathan Jansen and comedian Loyiso Gola.
Nothing like words of success and motivation especially from successful people who have already made it in life.
